  • Y-You got me...
  • I have solved your riddle now leave you beast!
  • Okay, okay a deal is a deal I suppose
  • Yes we should start preparing the wedding right away!
  • We should prepare the wedding for our marriage correct?
  • On his way back to Thebes, Oedipus had encountered a strange old man who got into an argument with Oedipus which had ended up in a sword fight. Oedipus had killed the old man and had continued his journey to Thebes
  • Well, lets just get out of here
  • Oedipus had went back to Thebes but, encounters a monster sphinx which will not leave unless Oedipus can solve his riddle. But, if he got it wrong, he would die. Luckily for him, he had figured out the riddle and the sphinx had left.
  • We're out of here too
  • The queen Jocasta was grateful for what Oedipus had done for the town. So, she asked him what he wanted for what he had done for the town. Some people realized that the king was missing so, the people decided to crown Oedipus king and got married to Jocasta and had 4 children. 2 daughters: Antigone and Ismene and 2 sons: Polyneices and Eteocles.
  • Leave this traitor's body out here to rot! he does not deserve a proper burial!
  • Eventually, Oedipus had set off to find the murderer of the previous king, when he found out that he was murdered on the side of a road, he remembered that he killed someone on the side of the road. That's when he finally pieced the puzzle together and found out the truth. So, his mother had killed herself and Oedipus had gouged his eyes out because he felt disgusted.
  • The two sons Polyneices and Eteocles had made a deal to switch off places as king after years went by but, when it was Polyneices' turn, Eteocles had refused to give him the crown so, Polyneices had left Thebes to build his own army so he could get revenge on his brother. During the battle however, Eteocles and Polyneices had killed each other which caused the armies to just walk away.
  • After all of this happened, Creon had taken the crown and decided to give Eteocles a proper burial. However, not for Polyneices because Creon had seen him as a traitor. So, Creon left Polyneices' body out near the gates to rot in the sun.
