Exposition: The narrator is grieving the loss of his wife Lenore, on a dark December night in his house.
Conflict: there is a raven at his door and will not go away even when Poe tells him to, the Raven always says "Nevermore" adding to the grieving of his wife. (Character vs Self)
Rising Action: While the narrator is sulking over his wife, a raven appears by the shutters and the narrator starts to question it but the only reply is "Nevermore"
Climax: When the narrator asks the raven if he will ever see Lenore again, the raven replies "Nevermore" and devastates the man.
Falling Action:The narrator, frustrated and upset, yells at the raven to leave but the raven refuses and replies "Nevermore", upsetting the narrator even more.
Resolution: The raven never leaves and the narrator's life will never be satisfied. He will also never be able to see his wife again.
