  • Alright class! Today we are going to start thinking about ideas for a bullying campaign we could share with our classroom, school, community, and even on the internet!
  • I'm not really sure what bullying is. I've heard it before, but I need more information. 
  • I was bullied when I was younger by a bigger kid at school. I bet we could find more examples online.
  • This might be a good site, but I see a curse word in the description, we should probably pick a different website.
  • A 21 century teacher is a facilitator for students learning. Teachers allow students to be connected with their communities in ways of their own choice. 
  • Well, I have a penpal in Nepal? I bet she had experiences with bullying!
  • You guys are doing a great job finding examples of bullying! How is your thinking geared toward a global audience? 
  • And I met Maria online from Peru! She is our age, she probably deals with these things too!
  • I've absolutely dealt with bullying! Kids in schools all over the world deal with different types of bullying.
  • Students are collaborating within the classroom. They found a problem that they needed to solve, and began to construct a way to solve it.

  • The teacher has taught these students how to be responsible digital citizens. They recognize when websites aren't school appropriate.
  • Now that we have a deeper understanding of bullying, we are ready to begin our advertisement!
  • The teacher guides students with questions, rather than answers. Students develop answers a ways to find answers on their own, and with a global mindset.
  • These students used Skype to solve a problem and seek another person's perspective. The students were empowered by real life experiences. They developed a conceptual knowledge of bullying and how it affects real people.
  • The students have taken ownership of their learning.  A community of collaborative trust is created because students understand the purpose behind their research.
