  • Germany
  • Belgium
  • The assassination of Franz Ferdinand was the catalyst of the war.
  • We intend to begin on the first of February unrestricted submarine warfare. We shall endeavor in spite of this to keep the united states of america neutral. The Germans sent telegrams to Mexico.
  • The war broke out in 1914 when Germany invaded Belgium called the Schleiffen Plan.
  • Trenches were series of tunnels and holes dug in the ground to protect soldiers. Some are dead.
  • We take the blame for WWI. We will pay for all reparations to the countries we invaded and fought against.
  • Germany sent a telegram to mexico giving them the request but the telegram was intercepted by the Americans before it could be reached in mexico.
  • Their mission was to break apart the German lines of defense.
  • Germany had to take the blame for WWI and would be forced to pay reparations to the countries they invaded and fought against.
