Ann Shirley has a very bad temper and she needs to learn how to control it.
HOW DARE YOU!
When Anne arrives at the train station she gets incredibly excited to finally belong to someone. Anne thinks that she is finally going to live in a house.
In Anne’s first day of school a boy named Gilbert teased her about her red hair and called her "carrots." So then she hit Gilbert on the head and had to write " Ann Shirley has a very bad temper and needs to learn how to control it." She thought that was extremely humiliating especially the fact that the teacher wrote her name without an e.
Anne is starting to grow up and she doesn't use long words anymore and doesn't talk as much as she used to. She rather keep her thoughts to herself and think of them as treasures that are meant to keep. At the end Anne becomes friends with Gilbert and apologizes for not accepting his apology.
