Set in Denmark. Hamlet is a story of a Kingdoms downfall, beginning with a murdered King.
The story begins as Hamlet feels upset about his fathers death and his mothers quick marriage to his uncle.
There has been appearances of the dead King Hamlet as a ghost. Hamlet talks to it one night and finds out how his father was killed by his uncle Claudius. Hamlet seeks to avenge his death.
Hamlet thinks up a plan to prove that the ghost is either lying or telling the truth. He puts on a play of his fathers death. King Claudius flinches and exits the room.
When King Claudius was praying, Hamlet tries to kill him. Hamlet decides to kill Claudius so his soul will go straight to hell.
Claudius and Laertes made a plan to kill Hamlet by poisoning a drink and using a poisoned sharpened sword. Gertrude accidentally drinks the poisoned drink. Hamlet and Laertes injure each other with the poisoned sword. Hamlet stabs Claudius and forces him to drink from the poisoned cup. They all die from the poison and Horatio kept on living to tell the story.
