Muhammad was supposedly sent to create and spread Islam and religion and he taught to be successful in life and the afterlife and was a messenger of God. The teachings are somewhat linked between other religions because they teach of messengers of God.
Trade routes in Arabia traded Frankincense for silk or spices that came from Asia. Merchants were carriers of the trade and helped other developing countries develop further. They were established so other countries could have resources they don't have in their own country. Many new cities were created during the early centuries of Islam due to trade in recourses.
Abu Bakr was the first "successor". He promised to Muslims that he would follow Muhammad closely. He decided to make the Muslim community reunite with military force. He gained control of central Arabia and soon went north to lands that are now known as Iraq and Syria. Muslims controlled most of Arabia after Abu Bakr died.
Muslim scholars created many things and studied many things in civilization such as medicine, science, algebra, literature, maps, recreation and even arts and music. There are a number of things that they have created such as algebra, zoology, maps, irrigation, astronomy, and even made huge advances in medicine. Muslims have contributed a lot to this world!
