Storyboard Text

  • Elizabeth!
  • She is calm and very collected. She is moral. Sometimes, though, she is a little too cool.
  • When she was asked about her husband being a lecher, she lied to protect his "good name"
  • Her name was mentioned in court. By being mentioned, it impacts the other character's views on her. "If you think that i am one, then say there are none." (pg 66 Act II)
  • She becomes devastated after she finds out about her husband's affair. This news changes the way she acts with John so this begins to impact and change his life. "Why-! The girl is murdered! She must be ripped out of the world!" (pg 72 Act II)
  • She tells her husband that she wont judge him if he decides to confess to the false charges.
  • Abigal tells John that Elizabeth hates her and that she is a lying, sniveling woman. Abigal also blames Elizabeth for being fired. "Then go and tell her she's a whore. Whatever promise she may sense- break it, John. Break it." (pg 59 Act II)
