Hello! My name is Isaac Newton and I was born in 1643. I am most known for my laws of gravity but I did many more broader aspects than that one subject.
Kids still to this day are taught my findings and research particularly in science. I made a big impact in the world today.
In 1666 while observing the motions of certain objects I concluded that what must go up, must come down. For example I can confirm this tennis ball will eventually come down because of gravity.
In 1704 I published a book called the Opticks and it was all about mathematics. The topic was particularly on calculus the quadrature of curves . I know it sounds complicated right? But believe it or not i actually loved this topic!
My first law states that states that every object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled to change its state by the action of an external force. This is otherwise known as inertia. This ball will not change direction unless forced too.
My second law states that the velocity of an object changes when it is subjected to an external force. Otherwise known as momentum this ball will change speed and direction by my head hitting the ball.
Lastly my last law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Once this ball hits the floor its going to react with the ground causing it to bounce back up again.
