  • KILL THOSE PROTESTANTS
  • During the Defenestration of Prague, King Ferdinand of the Holy Roman Empire sent two officals -- Vilem Slavata and Jaroslav Borzita -- to close the protestant church in Prague. The protestants then through them out of a window to rebel against the order. The officals were magically not killed during the incident.
  • King Ferdinand was angry about the Defenestration and he suddenly had to deal with attacks coming from multiple locations within his Bohemian kingdom. 
  • Vienna
  • In Bohemia there were rebelions in many cities. The rebel forces fought to overthrow the provicial governments.
  • The King of Spain gave money and hired troops to assist the Holy Roman Empire druing their war efforts. The Spainish wanted to keep the HRE region stable so they could continue trade.
  • In southern Austria, the troops of Count Thurn marched to the gates of Vienna
  • Duke Maximilian I led the army of the Catholic League to Prague to fight. The Catholic Army won after a quick battle and the leaders of the Protestant movement fled to avoid capture. Th e
