Storyboard Text

  • "But here is Haemon, King, the last of all your sons. Is it grief for Antigone that brings him here, and bitterness at being robbed of his bride?
  • I am sure that you did this for good reasons, but the people do not think the same. You might be wrong this time.
  • Son, did you come here to question my judgement or do you understand my decision?
  • You both seem to be making good points, you should listen to each other.
  • "You consider it right for a man of my experience to go to school to a boy?
  • If you kill her, then someone else will die as well.
  • "Creon, a young man in a rage is dangerous!"
  • Oh well, he will not save anyone.
  • Threats.
  • You could still let me go.
  • "If dirges and planned lamentations could put off death, men would be singing forever...."
  • "I have much to tell you: listen to the prophet, Creon."
  • There have been many signs from the gods, and I believe it is because you have made a mistake.
  • I always do.
  • If you do not set Antigone free and bury Polyneices, you will suffer.
  • "The old man has gone, King, but his words remain to plague us. I am old too, but I cannot remember that he was ever false."
  • Perhaps he is, I guess I will try to fix this.
