  • What do women most desire?!
  • Long ago, when King Arthur ruled this kingdom, there lived a strong Knight who served his kingdom. One day he came across a young lady who looked like she was in need of help. He tried to help her but she told the King that he harassed her. The Knight was told he would have to be beheaded for his actions.
  • Climax
  • I can help you.
  • The Queen decided that his punishment pf death was far too harsh. So instead she proposed a new idea, he would have twelve months and a day to answer her question correctly. The Knight had to answer the question " What is the thing that women most desire?". If he finds the answer he will be granted his life.
  • Falling Action
  • The Knight then left in search of his answer. He asked hundreds of ladies of which all gave different answers like clothes, fun in bed, or marriage. None of these answers sounded right to the Knight so he continued his journey until he found the solution.
  • Resolution
  • While traveling in the woods, the Knight came across a group of ladies. He decided to approach them and ask for their help. An older woman said she knew the answer but would only tell him if he does whatever she tells him. With that promise made, she said that he would know the answer before night fall.
  • It is now time for his court trial with the Queen. He tells her that women want to be looked at as above or equal to their husbands. Not one person at the trial disagreed with his statement. The Queen declares that he is granted his life. The woman that had helped him find the answer then announces that he must keep his promise and marry her.
  • The Knight refuses to be her husband because she is old and poor. This makes the woman upset and she goes on to tell about how she never did him wrong and even saved his life. The Knight continues to be crude towards the old woman so she gives him a choice. She says would you rather have a young beautiful wife that everyone wants or a loyal older woman. He refuses to choose so the lady chooses. She chose to be both young and beautiful yet loyal and charming.
