  • CONVERSATION 2
  • Why don't we just order an uber and come pick up your car tomorrow morning for your dad? I'm sure he won't mind as long as were safe.
  • heyyyy SaRaH Itsss gettinG KiNDA lAte, Do you waNt me get some dinneR anNd DroP you HoMe? I hAve My Dads car??
  • Pros and Cons of scenario 2 - Pros - She found a way to still stay with Justin, and spend more time with him without offending him. Cons - His dads car will be left there for a night and they may be hungover in the morning. ( short term effect of alcohol ).
  • CONVERSATION 3
  • heyyyy SaRaH Itsss gettinG KiNDA lAte, Do you waNt me get some dinneR anNd DroP you HoMe? I hAve My Dads car??
  • NO justin I dont think that is a good idea, we are both under the influence of a drug called alcohol and it can give you many short and long term effects, this can effect the way your mind works. That could mean your driving wouldn't be as good as normal, I can get my mum to pick us up?
  • Sarah found an alternative way to get the both of them home while being safe. She used the excuse refusal. She helped him out with a different excuse but avoided his question by indirectly saying no.
  • In this scene, Sarah evaluated the situation and decided that scenario 2 was an easy way to get home without being In danger or breaking the law.
  • I KNEW I SHOULDNT HAVE DRANK!! any of the conversations with justin will offend him. I took a type of drug illegally! Even though I dont feel my self at the moment the short term effects will wear off, but it doesn't mean the long term effects will! this was so irresponsible.
  • In this scene, Sarah got past the direct pressure that was being put on her and she decided to "Just Say No refusal". Instead of making an excuse to impress justin she trusted her insists and said no.
  • Pros and Cons of Conversation 1! PROS - I have avoided the question, there is no need for me to get in the car intoxicated with Justin right now, he might just forget about it as the night goes on. CONS - if he asks again I am not able to avoid the question and I will have to say no, Justin might leave now and leave me at the party myself.
  • In this scene Sarah evaluated the pros and cons of the conversation when she used the no refusal.
  • Pros and Cons of Conversation 3 PROS - Sarah faced her fears and trusted her inscints. She put her priorities of staying safe infant of anyone elses. Her and justin would now get home safe. CONS - Justin may have been offended by the way Sarah acted.
  • Sarah's feel- good, happy and relaxed feeling was starting to wear off an she was finding herself getting angry with herself and a massive headache pounding on her head. Drinking alcohol under the legal age can effect your mental growth, increase chance of adult alcoholism and also increase risk of dieseases.
  • Sarah is thinking about what has just happened, she is trying to decide if it was a good idea or not to avoid the question instead of saying no. If Sarah had kept drinking she may have become out of control of her actions, causing her to get in the car intoxicated. This is unsafe and agaisnt the law.
