Storyboard Text

  • Troy. A beautiful kingdom ruled by King Priam and his wife Queen Hecuba.
  • Queen Hecuba was expecting a baby boy. This was going to be her 52nd child.
  • That night before her child was born, Hecuba had a dream that her newborn child would destroy Troy. Her pictures in her mind were of her baby being a torch, and vivid pictures of Troy burning down.
  • She woke her husband and told him of the dream she had. He decided to consult the prophets, the wise men of Troy.
  • They asked the prophets what this meant, and they replied, saying their child would destroy Troy, he advised it would be better to kill their child. The King and Queen were devastated.
  • After Paris was born. King Priam sent off to kill his son, but did not have the courage to, he went to his chief herdsman and asked of a favor from him.
