Storyboard Text

  • On one side of the battle was the Spanish named the greatest force the world had ever seen . This was led by first in command Duke Of Medina Sendaynia. He had no military experience at sea. This was because King Phillip thought that social standing was more important than experience . His reasons for the was was a religious crusade against Protestants plus his anger at the sip looters.
  • On the opposing side was the English. The English were led by Howard and Drake. Howard was known for his riches and social standing whereas Drake was known as there best sailor, well respected by all English sailors on bord, treating them equal gaining their respect. The English were defending their land and were England's best hope at survival.
  • When the Spanish arrived at Plymouth the English couldn't attack because of the tied. However the Spanish didn't attack because they had orders from Phillip not too.
