When Ajax finally realized what he had done, he felt disgraced, and threw himself upon his own sword.
Meanwhile, in Greece, Odysseus had a plan to get into Troy.
Silly, paranoid Cassandra.
IT'S A TRAP!
Odysseus decided that they would trick the Trojans into bringing the Greeks into Troy. First, they sailed their ships away to make it seem like they had retreated. However, they were not far. They were just waiting for a signal to come back.
Then, the Greeks built a huge wooden horse. The Trojans would think that it was their prize for winning the war and that the Greeks retreated, but in reality, the Greeks were hiding inside of the horse!
Once the horse was inside of Troy, only two people suspected that it might be a trap. The first one, a wise old Trojan man, was killed by Poseidon's sea serpents. The second one, Cassanda, was cursed. She could tell the future, but no one would believe her.
The Trojans celebrated what they thought was a victory. They had a feast and went to bed.
