Kent v. United States (1966) Hamed S. 2A
By minerbros365, Updated
A Class Project.
Outside of the Supreme Court, 16 year old Morris Kent is being tried.
This isnt fair! I should be tried in a juvenile court.
Come on Morris.
While inside, Morris is convicted of his crimes and sentenced 30 to 90 years in prison.
Morris, you are guilty for past crimes and ...
I shouldn't be in this court room. This one is for adults and I'm just 16. Me and my lawyer should go back to the juvenile court.
But the judge ruled against Morris, because of his past offences.
And you are guilty!
You can be tried in this court.
After the court session was over, Morris was guilty and he was sent to jail.
I wonder if this would be a law for in the future. I don't want the same thing to happen to others.
