Storyboard Description

In 16th century, European arrived in North America. Later Great Britain occupied and divided North America into 3 parts, New England Colonies, Middle Colonies and Southern Colonies. Jamestown was a representative of Southern Colonies and Plymouth was a representative of New England Colonies. Because of the geography, the economic in New England main gain from the harbor, the economic in Southern Colonies main gain from plantation activities. The mother country--Great Britain, ask its colonies provide raw materials, and then sold to other countries. The gold of that activities is to export more than import which is called Mercantilism. Great Britain was so far from its colonies in North America and there was no quickly transportation that Great Britain ignored the colonies and did not enforce its laws or is called Salutary Neglect. Therefore, colonies create their own laws and develop colonial self-government.
