Romeo fought Tybalt as a revenge for Mercutio's death. This led to Tybalt 's death and Romeo's exile from Verona.
The Nurse tells Juliet the news of Tybalt's death and Romeo's banishment. She is devastated with the thought her cousin's death but even more with the thought of not seeing Romeo again.
Friar Lawrence informs Romeo of his banishment from Verona. Soon the Nurse comes in. She then informs them of Juliet's sorrow.
Lord Capulet and Lady Capulet decide to arrange a marriage between Juliet and Paris. They set the wedding to be on Thursday. They don't even consult their daughter about this arrangement.
Lady Capulet informs her daughter, Juliet, that she will marry Paris on Thursday. Juliet soon expresses opposition. So Lord Capulet is enraged by her daughter.
Mercutio and Tybalt start a fight which leads to Mercutio’s death. So Romeo fights Tybalt for revenge and this leads to Tybalt’s death. Next, Juliet is informed of her cousin’s death and Romeo’s banishment by the Nurse. Soon she’s upset about her cousin’s death and that she could not see her Romeo again. Back to Romeo, he’s hiding out at Friar Lawrence’s church and is told that he has been banished from Verona. Meanwhile, the Capulets arrange a wedding between Juliet and Paris for Thursday. Lastly, Juliet is informed of her arranged marriage by Lady Capulet. Juliet expresses her opposition right away and when Lord Capulet enters to that he is extremely angry.
