BREAKING: Reported Cases of Danum Adfectus in Florida
In the year 2040, an airborne virus called Danum Adfectus has broken out in Florida. The virus damages neurological functioning by causing nerve deterioration, eventually leading to death.
Immediately, scientists all over the country begin research to find a cure for this disease. As time goes on, the infection zone continues to grow extensively.
One scientist, Dr. Quinn Adams, develops a vaccine that makes those who receive it completely immune to Danum Adfectus. Realizing the importance of her revolutionary discovery, Dr. Adams founds the American Vaccination Association (AVA) to make vaccines more accessible to all citizens during this national crisis.
PASS THAT BILL!
Vaccination clinics begin to pop up all round the country, all headed by Dr. Adams. The majority of Americans rush to these clinics, eager to get a vaccine that could easily save their lives.
A resistance movement called No Vaccines for Me! begins to spread throughout the country. Misinformation in the media leads the movement's followers to believe the vaccines cause other health problems, such as immune system damage.
Dr. Adams sees this movement as a threat to public health and safety. She pushes for legislation that will make the Danum Adfectus vaccination mandatory for all American citizens. The majority of Americans back her decision and protest all across the U.S. for the passage of this law.
