- King Henry VIII wanted a boy as his heir
- I want a boy as my heir
- His wife, Catherine, had one a girl called Mary. Catherine tried having more babies yet she couldn't
- Henry I can't have more children
- What?!
- Henry wanted to divorce Catherine but the pope did not permit it so he created a new religion, the protestants.
- I would like to divorce my wife
- Fine! I'll create my own religion!
- I'm sorry your majesty but you can't
- Henry divorced Catherine and sent her to a Convent.
- He later married Anne Boleyn which also gave him a girl called Elizabeth. SInce she had promised him a boy he executed her.
- He then married Jane who died after two weeks of giving birth to his first son, Edward.
