#### Storyboard Text

• For example if an object is not moving, it will not move until a force acts upon it. Once you provide force it changes its velocity.
• I can't wait to learn about these laws !
• When a unbalanced force is interrupted an object will speed up, slow down, or change direction.
• Newton's Laws of Motion Newton's First Law of Motion
• The second law of motion has a change in mass when it accelerates. . This means that it depends on the net force that acts on the object and its mass.
• What's the second law mean?
• Next up is the Second Law of Motion
• Newton's Second Law of Motion
• Well you know, this law is mostly known by being called action reaction. Both of these are subjects to this law. For every force you hit on an object that force will come back equally strong.
• So glad I came to school today.
• Newton's third law Of motion
• One example is when you hit a golf ball it won't fly forever because balanced forces slow it down until it stops. The golf ball is pulled downward by gravity  slowed by air resistance.
• I need her to explain a little slower? but I guess I understand.
• Here is an example for Newton's First Law ! Pay close attention.
• Tension keep the force it has and pulls things apart. For example a rubber band can keep or pull things apart from each other.
• One quick detail is more mass equals more Inertia so keep that in mind.
• I'll keep this in mind for my quiz tomorrow.
• The force of friction tries to keep two surfaces from sliding past one another. It's direction is opposite to the net force's direction of motion.
• This is a bonus question for the quiz tomorrow. Does anyone know the answer?
