Explaining how the world was created
There was nothing but cold, swirling blue and white.
All the blue came together and formed a pool of water. All the white turned into a block of ice.
A girl appeared. This was Imelda, creator of all things.
Imelda sang until the melting ice turned into land and she felt safe.
Imelda sang some children to life. Each child appeared with a plant or an animal. The land began to spread.
She taught the people how to make fire for cooking, how to build houses for shelter and how to grow plants and breed animals for food.
