  • Paul and others in the book make many important decisions. Some of these are Mrs. Fisher bringing attention to Paul's eyesight, Paul going to TMS, and telling the truth about Erik.
  • Tangerine
  • "'We were hoping to see exactly where Paul will be going next week. He has problems with his eyesight ..."' (25).
  • Because of Mrs. Fisher calling attention to Paul's eyesight, Paul gets an IEP and cannot play on the soccer team anymore.
  • "'I want to go to Tangerine Middle School, and I want to go with no IEP"' (94).
  • Paul decides to go to Tangerine Middle schools. As a result, Paul makes new friends and can play on their soccer without an IEP as a substitute.
  • "'I saw- I heard Erik Fisher tell him to do it"' (284).
  • Paul finally works up the courage to turn Erik in for what he has done. As a result, Paul is no longer scared of Erik. Paul has been keeping in the true nature of Erik Fisher for so long and finally he was able to tell someone about it.
