  • Which representative are you voting for?
  • The Lord has spoken, we have new laws.
  • The above scene is a monarchy. This is when the government is ruled by a king or queen. They used to hold all the power and control but now usually work with different parts of government.
  • Why would you steal from me?
  • The above scene is a representative democracy. People vote for the people they want to represent them. This is a way to balance gov and citizen power.
  • You there, follow my orders!
  • Above is a theocracy. This type of government is ruled by a group that considers God the highest authority and law is based on religion. 
  • Son, tomorrow you must be a judge.
  • Anarchy is when there is no government. This allows people to do whatever they want without any repercussions. 
  • Dictatorships are a type of government where one person has all the power. The dictator controls laws and courts.
  • A direct democracy is when the people have all the power. They make laws, serve as judges and do all the government work.
