The English set sail for the New World!
SATURDAYS ARE FOR THE BOYS
Upon arrival, the Indians began to shoot at the 20-30 Englishmen that went ashore. Matthew Morton and Captain Archer were shot. Captain Newport began to counterattack the Indians.
Captain Newport and several others set forth to explore up the James River. Once they got back they came to realize about 400 Indians had attacked the fort. Many people were hurt.
The King of Pamaunke sent an Indian to assure the English peace. Everything was good for the English for awhile but soon enough, the Council began having issues. The English were sick and weak.

The English were sick and starving. They did not have adequate shelters. So the Indians brought them plenty of bread and corn. This strenghtened some of the English. The President's and Captain Martin's sickness had forced John Smith to become a cape merchant.
The English were now thriving in Jamestown. Free of famishing and diseases.
