At the beginning of our story, Odysseus and his men arrive at the island of the Cyclops.
Who goes there!!
We do, we need your help!
Odysseus takes his best men and searches the land.
They stumble across the cave while the Cyclops, Polyphemus, is gone. Odysseus and his men are desperate to take some of his valuable belongings.
No quitting now!!
The Cyclops enters the cave, discovers them, and asks where they're from. Odysseus answers and tells him about their experiences.
Polyphemus has no sympathy and starts to eat Odysseus's men. Even if they wanted to, they couldn't kill Polyphemus because he's the only one that can open the big door.
Odysseus devises a plan of escape. He makes a hot spike, gives the cyclops some wine, and says that his name is "Nohbdy".
