  • what is silent trade ? a trade when there is no talking or seeing each other . who used silent trade? Ghana,Kumbi,Wangarans. why was silent trade used ?They used it because it was a good way to trade and also not to have connections with the people you are trading with. where did silent trade take place ? at the borders or Niger river.  
  • caravans enter Ghana and bring there goods to the great market in kumbi 
  • we headed to the southern forest to trade with Wangarans
  • Trade with the wangarans took place along the river in the southern forest.
  • They carried there goods and spread them along the river.
  • Walked several miles away and banged a drum to announce they where trading
