  • Wait Maddy, let ME tell the story.
  • NO, you have your own story!  Anyways, like I was saying I am going to tell you about Common Sense
  • Hi, I'm Maddy. Today you will look at a story that goes all the way back to 1776
  • Maddy {black hair} Katelyn {the blonde}
  • Thomas is angry
  • Wait...I know what I'll do!
  • UGH, Why don't these colonists want FREEDOM FROM GREAT BRITAIN!!!
  • The Printing press
  • Ok! Thanks Ben. Now I will show them why they should join the cause.
  • Thomas use my printing press to make your pamphlets!
  • Maddy and Katelyn and Common Sense intro.
  • Hmm This looks interesting...
  • Thomas Paine was a very frustrated man. He didn't understand why the colonists were fine with Great Britain telling them what to do. He decided to take action.
  • Thomas decided to go over to his friend Benjamin's house. He went over to his printing press and printed the pamphlet that is know as "Common Sense".
  • GOODBYE!!!
  • Well, it looks like everything turned out good for Thomas! I'm sad to tell you this is the end of the story but it is!
  • Thomas went around with his newly printed pamphlets and handed them out to everyone he saw. It was an eye-opener for a lot of people. Most of them agreed to declaring independence from Great Britain.
  • Common Sense led to a lot of people joining the cause of fighting and declaring independence from Great Britain.
  • La Fin of the comic/story.
  • OH, also don't forget to check out my comic too! It's awesome!
  • Ok Katelyn now that you told them, it's time to REALLY say goodbye or I'll be late for my yoga class! BYEEEE.
