We need some basic right that apply to the whole country!
The United States must be one Federation, and one alone.
No! Our states refuse. We are one Confederation!
The territory is too big for one authority!
And by some, I mean a lot.

Finally, they sat down and decided to reach an arrangement.
It's time to stop disagreeing and start talking.
And so, a draft was proposed.
January 9, 1788
Finally, an agreement.
Five states out of the 9 we need have approved the Constitution.
Finally, on September 1789, 12 amendments were proposed. 10 were passed immediately, another on a had to wait until 1992 and the last one has never been passed. And so, the Constitution was born, beginning with those famous words: "We, the people".
