The Quebec act was passed on June 22,1774. The American colonists considered the Quebec Act just another Intolerable Act. The Intolerable Acts were a series of laws passed by the British Parliament that restricted the freedom of the American colonies.
Just another intolerable act !
At top of the intolerable acts ,The patriot were not happy with the various taxes they had to pay. The British were taxing them without representation( taxation without representation is one of the main reasons why the patriots were not happy). Some of the acts or laws passed were the Navigation Acts of 1660, Molasses Act of 1733, Proclamation Line of 1763, Sugar Act of 1764, Stamp Act of 1765, Quartering Act of 1765 ,and the Townshend Acts of 1767.
