Below New York you could find the colony of Pennsylvania!
WILLIAM PENN was an English Quaker who found Pennsylvania in 1682, after receiving a charter from King Charles II the year before. He launched the colony as a "holy experiment" based on religious tolerance.
There was also the colony of Maryland.
CECIL CALVERT, LORD BALTIMORE established the colony as a place for English Catholics.
Last but not least there was the colony of Virginia.
JOHN SMITH helped found and govern jamestown, his leadership and strict discipline helped the Virginia colony get through the difficult first winter the "starving time".
They also had some issues like many other colonies.
NATHANIEL BACON was a planter who led a rebellion with one thousand other Virginia farmers in 1676. The rebellion fell apart when he got sick and died.
Luckily they had the HOUSE OF BURGESSES which was a form of representative government in Virginia where it passed laws and set taxes.
Finally, is the colony of Georgia.
The founder of Georgia was JAMES OGLETHORPE, this colony was used for debtors/people who owed money, and as a buffer or protection zone against Spanish Florida.
