  • This step still has a nucleus, and the chromosomes are condensing.
  • This step is PROPHASE. The first step of Mitosis
  • In this stage the nucleus is now gone and the chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell.
  • This stage is called METAPHASE. (remember middle)
  • In this stage the chromosomes are seperating to the opposite poles, with a little help from spindles
  • This stage is call ANAPHASE. (remember away)
  • In this stage there are new nuclei that has formed around the new chromosomes
  • This stage is call TELOPHASE.
  • This is the stage of the final seperation between the new cells
  • This stage is call CYTOKINESIS
  • These stages repeat over and over again. This is how we as humans grow to be bigger and stronger.
