Storyboard Text

  • Oil spills are a big deal, every day animals are found in oil spills covered in oil where they have a hard time getting out on their own.
  • This happens by big containers of oil are shipped around the world on big boats, but sometimes the containers leak. Causing the oil to drip into the ocean where the animals get stuck. This can also happen when a ship runs into something and sinks.
  • These oil spills happen very easily. After the oil spills into the body of water the fish swim through the oil causing most of them to get stuck or covered in oil then they have a extremely hard time getting out. The birds on the other hand try to catch their food in the water causing the birds to eat some of the oil that is toxic.
  • There are special people who save the animals from the oil spills and they take care of the animals until they are ready to live on their own, those people are environmentalists.
  • These environmentalists also try to take most of the oil out of the water. Even doing the smallest action can save our earth and our oil supply.
  • You can save the animals and prevent the oil spills from happening too!
