  • We CONQUERED and DEFEATED Latins and Etruscans 
  • 509 B.C.E.
  • Rome grew so much that they had to go in war with another power, city of Carthage in North America. Then they began to have three major wars.
  • Second Period of Expressions 
  • 246 to 146 B.C.E.
  • Rome ruled the entire Mediterranean world and they took over Asia Minor, Syria, and Egypt. But in the west a general named Julius Caesar ruled most of Gaul. Julius then got murdered in 44 B.C.E. and his nephew, Octavian, became a ruler.
  • I'm Octavian, the supreme ruler!
  • Third Period of Expressions
  • 145 to 44 B.C.E.
  • Octavian or Augustus then made a new territory by pushing the borders back  all the way to the rivers so it can be easier to defend.
  • Alright Augustus, I'll go to get my crew and start working on it.
  • I've decided as the ruler to push the borders back to make war easier!
  • Forth Period of Expressions
  • Lasted of 14 B.C.E.
