The climax is the point at which the conflict is resolved and the story outcome is clear. The boy is killing the old man because he's scared of his eye. "Finally it stopped. The old man was dead."
Falling action is after the climax and as the story begins to wrap up. The police came to the house and asked to come in. "Three policemen came in. A neighbor had heard a scream and had gone to the police station.
The resolution is the out come of the conflict The police wouldn't stop talking then the kid finally told the police that he killed the guy. "I screamed enough! I admit the deed! Tear up the planks!"
