  • Hmm must be another one of his parties. It's pretty quiet though.
  • Jordan explained to me everything and I've invited Daisy over for tea tomorrow.
  • Thank you old sport.
  • Nick is on his way home and passes Gatsby's house and notices every light on in his mansion and believes he is just throwing another fancy party. Nick just continues on his way home.
  • I love it, but I don't see how you live there all alone.
  • Do you like it?
  • Nick agrees to invite Daisy alone to his house after Jordan explains the situation Gatsby is in and the favor he needs from Nick
  • I've got a man in England who buys me clothes.
  • They're such beautiful shirts!
  • Nick leaves Daisy and Gatsby alone to talk and at first it was awkward because both were in shock, but then reality hit and Daisy started to cr. Gatsby was emotional as well because everything is so overwhelming.
  • Gatsby shows Daisy his house and now she sees what Gatsby has worked for the past 5 years to give to her. Gatsby is questioning constantly if Daisy likes it because he wants everything to be perfect for her.
  • Daisy cries as she realizes while Gatsby is throwing down shirts, the wonderful life she could've had with Gatsby. but she will never have.
  • Nick leaves Gatsby and Daisy alone for the rest of the night because he feels out of place and thinks they need time to each other. And they were also paying him no mind as Gatsby showed them around his lovely home.
