  • Help, Help, Help!!! My farm is on fire!!! Please, help! Anybody

  • It is almost done Don´t worry
  • John Nelligan sees a farmer´s farm on fire. He had walked 12 miles (which was short back then) to get to the nearest store. He did not know if he should help or not.
  • I never got your name
  • So Tired, Fire Never going to end
  • Oh yeah, I am John Nelligan. I am a lumberjack
  • John comes to the farm to help the farmer put out the farm, and to see if he got hurt while trying to out the huge fire.
  • Thank you so much, how can I repay you? I am so grateful you were here
  • Some animals survived and your farm is repaired. That is all that matters.
  • The fire is almost out and John reassures the devastated farmer. 
  • John Nelligan introduces himself.
  • Farmer wants to repay John but John reclines the offer.
  • This is where the fire came from. It was called the Peshtigo fire because it started in Peshtigo.
