  • Its the 27th already!!
  • Is everyone ready for the lottery?
  • Sorry i'm late!
  • I'm Nervous!
  • Exposition: In a town with around 300 people in 1948 and gathers for the annual June 27th lottery.
  • This Isn't Fair!!
  • Bill Hutchinson has it!
  • It's Tessie Hutchinson
  • Rising Action: The entire town gathers for the lottery and Tessie Hutchinson shows up late.
  • This isn't fair, this isn't right!
  • Rising Action: Each person of age receives a folded card and is told not to open it yet.
  • Climax: Bill Hutchinson and his family is chosen.
  • Falling Action: Tessie Hutchinson is chosen as the family member to get stoned to death.
  • Resolution: Tessie gets stoned because she is chosen for the annual lottery. They do the lottery as a tradition for good luck on their crops.
