Storyboard Text

  • Act III, Scene II
  • Caliban, Stephano, and Trinculo enter the scene already drunk but they continue to drink as they now begin roaming around the island.
  • As they are walking around, Stepheno begins to insult Caliban, and they begin to quarrel due to their drunnkeness.
  • Hey! You servant monster! Drink some more!
  • That doesn't sound like a bad idea to me .
  • As they now have created an argument, they continue at it for a while. Ariel, who had been hiding comes out and acts as Trinculo which causes some trouble. Both Stephano and Caliban are furious at him for not cooperating with them and refuses to continue the conversation with him. Trinculo is then left out of the conversation.
  • My master is a tyrant who used his magical powers to take away my island from me
  • You liar!
  • We shall take over this Island along with Prospero's books and daughter.
  • Together, they create a plan to overthrow Prospero and take over the island for themselves. They are still unaware of the fact that Ariel was present and was overhearing the conversation and their evil plans.
  • Me? Ruler of the Island?!
  • Ariel steps in and begins to play a beautiful tune. This distracts Caliban and Stephano because they begin to follow the tune instead of worrying about their plan.
  • Where is this beautiful melody coming from?
  • END
