Storyboard Text

  • The process of photosynthesis
  • Plants use the sun’s light to create photosynthesis this process lets the plants to make their own food to survive.
  • Light dependent reaction
  • Chlorophyll and other light-absorbing molecules in the thylakoid membrane absorbs the suns photons to make their own energy.
  • In this process ATP and NADPH is produced as well
  • Enzymes break down water molecules. Oxygen hydrogen ions (H^+) and electrons are separated from each other. The oxygen is released as waste.
  • hydrogen
  • oxygen
  • hydogen
  • Light independent reaction
  • carbon dioxide
  • carbon dioxide enters the plants tiny pores called the stomaza.
  • Oxygen
  • Glucose
  • Carbon Dioxide gets combined with Hydrogen using the ATP and NADPH to create Glucose. During this process more Oxygen exits the plant as well.
  • In summary: Water - Sunlight - Carbon Dioxide= Glucose - Oxygen
