The Creature swears to kill all humans, but Victor in particular, however once he saves a little girl from drowning and is consequently shot, he kills William. He vows, ". . . eternal hatred and vengeance to all mankind."
The Creature's story has ended, and he demands that Victor creates him a female, and says he will be good if he is in love. "If you consent, neither your nor any other human being shall ever see us again."
Victor travels back to London to create the second monster, and promises that upon his return he shall marry Elizabeth. "I love my cousin tenderly and sincerly."
