  • BETTER LET IT BURN!
  • RISING ACTION
  • I wish for two hundred pounds.
  • Well, wish for two hundred pounds.
  • Mr. White and Herbert were playing chess when they were waiting for sergeant Major Morris.
  • CLIMAX
  • Mr. White and Major Morris were arguing if the Monkey's Paw could be used or not and Morris threw it in the fire when Mr. White pulled it at of the bright burning fire.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • Mr. White wanted the paw to wish for something but he doesn't know what to wish for, so Herbert wants to wish for 200 pounds.  
  • RESOLUTION
  • I wish for the person at the door to disapear.
  • IT'S HERBERT! IT'S MY SON!
  • Herbert dies because he told his father to wish for 200 pounds so Herbert gets the consaquence for dying and Mr. White also gets it because he listened to his son.
  • Mrs. White wants to use the second wish to wish Herbert, their son alive again. so they take it and wish their second wish.
  • where's the paw? We can wish our son alive again for last wish! we have only have one wish so far.
  • The White's hear a knock on the door so Mrs. White runs to open the door right when Mr. White grabs the paw and wishes his last wish.  The story really doesn't have a resolution.
