In the beginning of the Wild Robot, a hurricane sinks a ship. On this ship, there are crates full of robots. One crate floats to an island's shore Some otters find the crate and start playing with it. While playing, they accidently press a button to turn on the robot Roz.
One day, while exploring, Roz's life changes. She finds a goose egg that has no parents, and decides to take care of it. Since Roz is new at being a parent, the other animals decide to help. They build her a house and a garden, and give her parenting advice. In the end, Roz names the gosling Brightbill.
Here you are, your NEW lodge!!
As Brightbill gets older, he learns to fly. He can do flips, turns, and other stunts. Everyone thinks he's the best flyer on the island.
One day, after coming up from the beach, Roz and Brightbill encounter the sister and brother bears, Nettle and Thorn. Since they don't like Roz, the bears decide to attack her and Brightbill. During the fight, Roz looses her foot. But then, Thorn rolls of the cliff. After Roz saves him, the bears promise not to bother Roz anymore. Later that day, Mr. Beaver makes a new foot for Roz.
Since it's winter, Brightbill had to fly south with the other geese. While he's gone, a cold winter hits the island. Roz decides to help the cold animals by letting some stay in her cabin. Later on, she builds more cabins for the other animals.
Thank you so much.
Spring is here! The ice is melting, the sun is out, and the geese are finally back! Brightbill is so happy to see Roz, and has a lot to tell her.
