  • Catherine of Aragon 1509 - 1533
  • I am NOT old and boring!
  • Anne Boleyn 1533 - 1536
  • Hey handsome XD
  • Jane Seymour 1536 - 1537
  • Need any help?
  • A Spanish princess, once married to Henry's older brother. She was clever and popular. All her male babies died but she had a daughter called Mary who survived. Henry divorced Catherine when she was 40 because he thought she had gotten old and boring.
  • Anne of Cleves: 1540
  • Whatever.
  • Anne was young, beautiful and fashionable. She had a daughter after she got married to Henry called Elizabeth. Henry sulked for weeks because he wanted a boy. She miscarried a boy in 1536. Henry accused Anne of having an affair with four other men and her brother! Despite no proof, she was beheaded in 1536.
  • Catherine Howard: 1540-1542
  • Jane was clam, gentle and caring. She tried hard to be friends with Henry's daughters. After she was married to Henry she gave birth to baby boy - at last! Henry named him Edward. Sadly, Jane died of infection a few days after the birth.
  • Catherine Parr: 1543-1547
  • You're asking me to marry HIM?!
  • Henry married Anne because it brought friendship between England, Wales and other countries. She was serious and unfashionable. Henry has seen a painting of her and liked what he saw. However, when he saw her for real, he described her as a 'fat mare from Flanders'. Henry later divorced her
  • She was young, lively and pretty. She flirted with lots of men...and Henry found out. She once finished off a letter to her lover with the words, 'Yours as long as life endures'. Henry was furious. Henry also found out that she had several serious boyfriends before she met the King. A queen should not have a past like this! She was later executed
  • Catherine was sensible, intelligent 32-year old widow. When she caught the attention of 52-year-old Henry, she was a little bit worried, perhaps frightened, despite the family's pleasure that the King had chosen her. She was married to Henry until his death.
