Don decides he still should go back to the island for his horse. The boat they are on his well suited to have a horse on it without sinking. Don steers the boat to the other side of the island, away from the pirates, and gets off to go get his things and horse. Donna stays on the boat to make sure the pirates don’t come back.
Don finds the cave where he left his things and sees that his belongings are gone but Rocinante is still there. He looks around and sees that the pirates left a note that they’ll be back later for the horse. Don doesn’t know if the pirates are aware that they were coming back to the island or if there are other trespassers here. He decides to get on his horse and go back to the boat before the pirates come back.
Don makes it back to the boat and sees that the pirates never found it. He wants to hurry and get back on with his horse so they can leave. Rocinante is afraid to get on the boat so Don struggles to push him on. When he’s finally on they decided to sail away.
Don Quixote woke up in his bed confused. All he remembers from his dream is that he met a girl named Donna and that they went on an adventure. As always Don Quixote has vivid dreams and he enjoys them. One day Don will figure out why he has all of these adventure dreams. You never know, maybe he’s a knight.
