  • They are gonna get mad
  • Go tax the colonists on everything they buy made of paper
  • I know
  • Stamp Act Congress (1765)
  • No Taxation without representation
  • How about a petition?
  • I know everybody is mad about the stamp act that the British has put on us colonists 
  • They tax everything thats made of paper
  • We need to find a way to stop this
  • If we don't buy from them they have to give it up sometime
  • The Boston Massacre (1770)
  • Welcome to Boston
  • THE MASSACRE HAS BEGUN
  • Why did this have to happen in Boston?
  • This is when King George was desperate to pay back all the money he owed by taxing the colonists, which made them angry.
  • Boston Tea Party (1773)
  • I can't believe the British put taxes on our tea!
  • This is when the the colonists got tiered of being taxed on paper and decided not to buy from the British and sent a letter to King George saying "No taxation without representation".
  • The Second Continental Congress (1775)
  • Welcome to the second Continental Congress
  • NO we are their loyal British subjects!!!
  • This is when the colonists were insulting the British and shot were fired, though this was not a big crisis it still changed a lot of peoples mind about how good the British were.

  • This is when the colonists fed up with the British taxing their tea and decided to take theirs by dumping it all off a ship in Boston harbor.

  • This is when the colonists were so angry with all the things the British that they both wrote a petition to them and got the colonies real for war.
  • FINE we will do your silly petition if you at least get your town ready for war!

  • Thomas Paine wrote a book called "Common Sense" which told people how the British were leading us with tyranny, this book changed so many people to want to help, not hurt the plans of revolution.
