The important event in Gn 8:1-22 was about how God remembered Noah, his family and all the wild animals were still with him in the ark. Noah was in a boat and the flood hadn’t left and they wanted to get off because the animals were smelling, tired and they didn't have fresh food. First, they sent the raven and it came back. Noah sent it again and it didn't come back because it found land when the water receded. Then, they released a dove but It came back. Next, he sent a dove again but that time it did not come back it found land. Finally, when land was dry God told Noah to leave the ship and multiply and reproduce him and all the animals.
" God remebered Noah and all animals, wild and tame, that were with him in the ark. So God made a wind sweep over the earth, and the water began to subside" ( Gn8:1).
" In the evening the dove came back to him, and there in its bill was a plucked-off olive leaf! So Noah knew that the waters had diminished on the earth"He waited yet another seven days and then released the dove; but this time it did not come back" (Gn 8:11-12).
"and all the animals, all the birds, and all the crawling creatures that crawl on the earth went out of the ark by families" (Gn 8:19).
