Since moving from New Jersey, the only thing on Isabella's mind was dancing! She was so excited to see her new studio and meet new friends. However, when she go to the studio on her first day, she was overwhelmingly nervous.
"HA! Look at the new girl. She thinks she's got a shot at being HALF as good as I am! You should quit while you're ahead honey."
Unfortunately, it was not much better when she walked in. She was given a not-so-warm welcome by one of the studio favorites, Macy.
"I can't go back there mom! Macy said it herself, I will never be good enough."
Isabella was convinced she was never going to be good enough. Her mom tried desperately to reassure her. Then, she remembered something.....
"Don't say that sweetheart!"
"Here Izzy, I have something that I think will make you feel better."
Isabella's mom had a gift that she was finally ready to give her daughter after many years.
"What could it be?"
"I think its finally time I give you this."
When Isabella's mom was a little girl, her grandmother gave her a pink pair of ballet shoes, a tutu, and a bow. These three things made anybody who put them on into an incredible dancer! The tutu gave you the power to do 100 pirouettes effortlessly. The ballet shoes gave you the ability to jump 5 feet in the air. The bow gave you the most important power of all! It gave you grace, elegance, and confidence.
"Oh my gosh! Thank you so much mom!"
Thanks to her mom's gift, Isabella was the star of the show! She was able to turn and leap with ease. Best of all she was able to show Macy that she was absolutely good enough.
