  • 1920's Flappers
  • It's all about having fun being free at the moment. Us women dressed in glitz and glam; loud music everyone dancing
  • Being a Flapper comes with an attitude and image. Sexual behavior, honesty, and fun are fundamental. Alcohol, dancing and, smoking were also apart of being a Flapper.
  • Things started to open up for women such as women gaining the right to vote. 
  • Carrie Chapman started making women voting aware starting "The League of women voters." Margaret Sanger also wanted to give women independence by pursuing birth control methods.
  • Alice Hall also fought to have equal rights amendment in the constitution. Women finally were being heard. Flappers image was coming together from these women improving women's rights. Without this back then women's rights would not be where they are today.
